Rhona Mitchell

BA (Hons), Dip S&D, TQSE, LGSM, LLAM (Hons), MSTSD. 

Co-ordinator and Specialist Teacher.

 

Rhona is an experienced teacher and director who founded the Rhona Mitchell School of Drama in 1983. Outwith her school she has worked extensively as a Drama lecturer and teacher, director, choreographer and voice coach.

She has also worked for many years as a Film Editor for television companies throughout the United Kingdom.

She has worked with Kaleidoscope Arts Festival, Aberdeen Actors Company and Abderite Productions, and various television companies.

 

The Rhona Mitchell School of Drama was set up originally in Inverurie in 1983, and then operating as MSD in the West End of Glasgow in 1988, where it ran very successfully until Rhona's return to Aberdeenshire in 1998.  Many of MSD's former students have gone on to study drama full-time: many are working professionally as actors, directors and in television. 

 

 

Pamela Green

Ass.T., Ass H., SDTA, Silver Medal, LAM

 

Trained at Italia Conti for 3 years gaining a Diploma in Performing Arts.

For the last 15 years Pam has worked extensively throughout the North East, teaching dance to 3 year olds to 60 year olds. She is an experienced freelance choreographer, performer and teacher.

 

 

M.A., LAMDA Gold Medal, ABRSM Gde 8

 

 

Studied Literature and Elizabethan Theatre at The University of Aberdeen.

Worked as drama teacher for two years in North East Scotland and now as singing and piano teacher in Inverurie. 

 


Olivia Watt

         

 

Olivia has attended classes with MSD since age 4 and began teaching in August 2009. She still assists with multiple classes, and is working towards her teacher's qualifications with LAMDA.
