STV recording an insert for the production of  a Midsummer Night's Dream for AIYF at the Lemon Tree, Aberdeen from the 6th - 8th August 2007

Members from the cast improvise a scene from 12th Night in Inverurie Town Square to promote their forthcoming production at the Wyness Hall from the 20th April.

Banff Carnival of Youth
Sunday 12th June 2005

Some of the Musical Theatre students travelled to Banff in order to perform 'Garden World' for this event, sadly the skies opened during the Parade and subsequently all outdoor performances at the Carnival were cancelled.
Thank you to all students and parents who made the effort to get to Banff and endured the rain.
We then decided to perform the piece for parents at the next Musical Theatre class as consolation

Professional work for students

Alanna Petrie, Lauren Milton and Alison Telfer have been successful in auditioning for Aberdeen Actors Company and have completed a training video and some role-play work.
Also Duncan Anderson has successfully performed in Abderite's 'OUCH' at the Lemon Tree in May to good reviews:
"...masterfully performed by Ewan Cameron and Duncan Anderson", "...wittily sets the scene with outstanding performances from Ewan Cameron and Duncan Anderson as a contemporary odd couple in search of love"

Students appear in Grampian TV productions

Christine Hadden, Simon Michie and Rhona Mitchell along with Charles Barron appeared in two episodes of 'Beyond Explanation'

Rhona Mitchell appeared in the 'Timeframe' episode about the witch Janet Wishart; along with Pamela Barrie, Ken McRae, Kenny Fraser, Alison Telfer and Alan Bond as the witch 'accusers'.

Olivia and Rosalind Watt were selected to take part in AIYF Opera's production of 'FALSTAFF', at the MacRobert Hall at Robert Gordon's University on the 4th, 7th and 9th of August 2005.

Building on the success of the Festival’s previous opera
productions, Opera Garden present Verdi’s bawdy tale of a loveable rogue.
Falstaff is an ingenious situation comedy – wonderfully amusing and masterfully constructed – borne from one of the greatest composer-librettist collaborations ever.

Several members of the Performance and Musical Theatre classes contributed to the Grampian TV series 'Where's Your Head At?'

Rosalind Watt (on the right - pictured with Lewis Stephen and Shannon Coull)

Rosalind Watt successfully auditioned for Theatre Babel to perform in their production of Shakespeare's 'Macbeth' at HMT Hilton in September 2004.
She played both a Witch and MacDuff's daughter
